Great tap, but the tails are a 12mm fiting.
Bought this tap to replace a B&Q tap which couldn't cope with our high pressure cold mains and leaked on occasion. Have several other Grohe fittings, and like them the quality of this tap is excellent. The tails are already fittted, making installation quicker and easier, plus no potential leak issues at the point where (in other taps) the tails screw into the actual tap. The only issue with the whole unit is that the inlet on the tails requires a 12mm fiting, rather than the normal 15mm. I had to use a couple of 12/15mm adaptors, which added another £5 to the overall cost. Otherwise a great product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality Grohe but not the best fit in the UK
It is a usual Grohe, no need to comment on its good quality, but the connections are not the best for for UK. It does not connect direct to a common UK source of 15mm. This needs a 12mm connection, so you need to find a 15 to 12mm converter and need to have the know how how you make these connectionsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Neat and stylish and mixes hot and cold water easily with normal flow of water.
This chrome mixer tap is excellent. It was bought to replace a new tap I had bought when modernising our en- suite. The new tap I bought was of a square design - all corners and had a huge amount of water coming out and difficult to slow it down. Couldn't put up with that so- called modern design. So - I ordered the Grohe BauEdge Single Lever Mono Basin Mixer Tap 23330000 chrome with flexi hoses. Extremely pleased with this design, would recommend it, although not yet fitted. I would just state (nothing to do with this excellent product). I had trouble with fitting the flexi hoses as the connections are a different size to what I already had and I have had great difficulty in finding anyone who sells the correct size and I ended up having to order them on line which turned out to be from China and I still haven't received. I am sure there are people who do sell them. Anyone having the same problem make sure they are not ordered from China. Can't wait to get the new tap fitted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value generally - but a pain to connect to std. BSP fittings without buying converters
Good quality tap but....You do need to buy some converters from plumbers merchants as the flexi hose connections are not BSP fittings. 15mm Compression by 3/8" BSP Male Iron Thread European Flexible Tap Adapters (Pair) Should be noted on product description really or included in the box.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great tap, but only 4 stars out of 5 as you have to purchase adapters for the UK
Lovely, well-made tap. Unfortunately, you will need to purchase adapters to fit standard UK 15mm copper pipework as this tap is the European fitment.
