Perfect for catching things
Bought to catch a rat ... "said" rat has evaded every plan i hatched to catching it. I see the blighter running around traps etc every night on cctv but is far to clever I'm being outsmarted by a rat! However perseverance is key! Got up this morning to a baby hedgehog trapped inside 😔 ... unhurt luckily.... At least I know it works and is completely humane! Btw baby hedgehog is safe and well and will be cared for until spring ready to be released. These traps are very humane and large enough for a mouse to stay in it until you can set it free. However the only problem I’ve found is that several times the mouse has managed to remove and eat the food without it going off. At last, a live trap that actually works!
Good quality and well constructed these traps replaced 2 x Trip Trap Mouse Traps. Unlike the Trip Traps these actually work. Although maybe a little large for your average mouse there's plenty of room for the mice to move about and so less stressful. Made of pressed steel with powerful springs but not that easy to set - maybe too sensitive and snaps when the trap is touched. Still they have dealt with the problem despite empty traps and no bait on several occasions. Strong trap - needs care with handling and putting in bait
Pros - large trap, so can accommodate large mice and small rats.
