Beautiful product now than ever. AMD Ryzen was a revelation but with Gen 2 now we got an even better deal and ram compatibility is awesome. Mine was in very good conditions (for used piece) and luckily after nearly a year out it got cheaper. It kills anything in the middle segment from Intel past generations and with AMD you can be sure for few more years to come before AM4 gets replaced and due to better performance tuning with updates. It does well for gaming 6c/12t but for general computing and productivity is a real gem especially for under £85 (used) around January 2020. I am so happy eBay exist and time to time can find the bargain of the century.You can find awesome deals on B450s boards now that gen 3 is out and my combo is with Gigabyte B450M S2H which booted up first time and had also gen 3 cpu BIOS.

I use the processor on standard parameters without raising the clock (I did not need more efficiency) surprisingly quiet ... I use basically to play and I'm happy. by comparison with the purchase of the last Intel i-5,600 (for which I paid more) I am more satisfied with the purchase of AMD Ryzen 5 2600 + good price + 6 core 12 thread + 2k working perfect

Still a fine desktop processor
Very impressive all round cpu. It still has lots of grunt and is snappy on the desktop. Teamed with an ssd or a m.2 Nvme drive its instant. This is where the second hand market should be looking. Great used prices and superb performance for the outlay. If you are not doing cad work and just want a all round high performing pc then I promise you will not be disappointed. 10/10 for this cpu.

Fantastic cpu at the right pricr
Upgraded to this from an i7 4790 which was starting to show its age. Did my homework and knew what to expect from this cpu and have not been disappointed. Ideally would have gone for a 3600 but managed to pick this up discounted and for what I paid could not have gotten a better one. Haven’t tried Overclocking yet but out of the box using Ryzen Master is snappy and multi tasks extremely well. No complaints gaming either. I read the reviews and decided to have this processor and I am glad that I did, I got it at a good price as well.
I am very happy with this CPU and I only have the standard Wraith cooler and my temperatures are quite low so I will stick with what I have. The best budget cpu
AMD really brought the heat to intel with their new ryzen line up. The 2600 is an amazing 6 core 12 thread cpu. Whether it be for editing or gaming or streaming, the 2600 will do it good.
