Ooooof that's gotta hurt!
Insane...First stop Pitbull mod, without a doubt it reduced the report considerably. It's about as loud as a short 22 in a pistol Barrel, a little deeper pitch, but yeah when I dry fired it inside with a thousand PSI.. my ears definitely rang and it spooked the dog something fierce. Also it needs a depinger for sure. Out of the box it's not neighbor friendly, but what 357 caliber airgun is? It could be quieted up. The problem with doing that is people may not realize what type of power it produces.. I watched a few YouTube videos of people shooting these in their backyard, in less than 25 yards behind their basic fence backstop are neighbors houses.. this thing can blast a pellet through a quarter inch of plate aluminum from 50ft, so you're basically shooting a 9 millimeter handgun with an non premium off-brand round achieving almost the same velocity and close to that power level. By itself it's not too heavy roughly seven pounds, I added an ATN X sight HD, and a forward grip.. it's a reach for my short arms. JB exacts were hole in hole at 40yrds, and since the ATM has a ballistic calculator moving back another couple of yards it was still right on. SDo I recommended it? Amazing professional air gun , it puts the PRO in professional!
Well built well designed professional air gun, It has incredible hitting power and you can hear it. I had hoped it was quieter but I will just have to get the silencer to use it more often near the city. It's serious enough sounding that in the world of easily scared and quick to narc sheep for citizens that I could easily see LAPD SWAT come in assaulting my house because I was practicing in the backyard. its proved to be very accurate , I was able to get it to a quarter sized group in my backyard already. The 1st time I saw a squirrel it did not make it to harass my dogs again. I was able to silence it the 1st shot I tried so its a natural born ender of squirrels. WOW it's fun!
I generally don't write reviews but I had to spread the word! I just got into the PCP arena so I first bought a 25 call, it was alot of fun but I was afraid to hunt with it fearing I wouldn't drop mid size game in one shot, I had been contemplating a big bore but between single shot, the shots per fill and price I was hesitant. I did my homework and the Bulldog kept coming up, had 10 shots per fill, up to 900fps (with 95 grain pellets) and priced around $700 it sounded great but was it to good to be true? When I found one new for $634 I figured whats the worst that could happen, well WOW was I impressed! It's small, light weight AND THE POWER. I expected more from the .25 and not nearly as much from the .357. The Benjamin is shorter and lighter than .25 but has the same barrel length, it's also more durable and the accuracy is more consistent. I'll summarize; if you're looking for a PCP big bore but don't have $1000+ to spend don't be affraid to spend a little cash on the Bulldog, I PROMISE you won't be disappointed. P.S. If you're just getting into PCP's, don't buy this or any Big Bore unless you can afford an electric high pressure pump! It will take the fun out of it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's a monster of an air gun!
I like the Benjamin Bulldog because it's compact. It's much shorter than the Gamo Swarm Magnum. When I shot it I was so amazed at the power and accuracy. It was loud sounds like a real gun. I was able to hit targets without a scope or sights. The only thing I don't like about the Bulldog is the five round clip. Wish it was seven rounds. Super powerhouse pcp air rifle!
Love my Benjamin bulldog tack driver! Just harvested a jackrabbit with it at 55 yards.Plan on doing more hunting with it.I also have the Benjamin akela 22 ! Both are tack drivers and fun to shoot and hunt with !
