Excellent For The Price
Really good quality for the price. They have the European Standard (CE0194) stamp and stamped as 25KN. A well know tool brand (Silverline); more at the budget end if the spectrum though. A quick examination is actually pretty impressive with an excellent snappy spring to the gate and a smooth locking screw/nut. It actually spins smoothly a few turns with a minimal flick of the thumb. My climbing and caving days are behind me and all of my hardware went to my local caving club when a knackered back meant no more ropes and harnesses. However I would not hesitate to use these on any static rope work (I would want something guaranteed by a really good brand for use with dynamic ropes with potential for falls). However these are for rigging exercise equipment in the garden and as such I am really pleased with these bargain price Krabs.

Steel is good.
The fashion is for everything to be super lightweight these days but there are still situations where a steel carabiner of small diameter is useful, stomper belays with axes with small carabiner hole for instance. likewise placements where friction against rock is possible. these carabiners fill these contingencies perfectly. made of quality steel alloy and precisely machined they are of excellent quality and competitively priced. Service from the manufacturer was first class. So.....look no further.

Good for what I needed them for.
I wanted these for an old school washing line, perfect for that. I wouldn’t use them for climbing due to their weight, in the same way I wouldn’t use my climbing carabiners for the washing line due to their cost. Well made and sturdy, good price and arrived quickly.

I bought these for using with towing or winching heavy items around so not for rock climbing. They are a little heavier than my other alloy carabiniers but as weight is not an issue for me I would give them 5 stars. Unbelievable value for money and very very strong. Highly recommended.

Good quality, very sturdy looking and heavy duty item. Intending to use it when roping-up to climb a large conifer I need to cut, and I'm confident this will be plenty tough enough to support my 12st frame! Great strong very cheap Karabiner
Needed them for my harness when doing some diy work on pitched roofing. They are very sturdy. Probably not suitable for mountain climbing due only to weight as they are steel and probably double the weight of specialist lighter alloy Karabiners. But then they are £17 on tinternet each.
