Would be good for holding heavy bikes in the center
Built very well, with what appears to be quality material. Easy to assemble, fold, and store. I have an Ebike that weighs about 66 lbs, and i did take the battery (about 9 lbs) off the bike before placing onto the stand (of course with assistance). The bike is a step-thru, and after trying two points to mount it, the best was the seat post, but after a short period of time the bike would slowly lean down to the heaviest side, which if course would be the rear of the bike. If the bike was mounted only about two feet off the floor, the rear wheel will eventually touch the floor. we tightened the clamps very well, but it didn't hold. I recommend this unit for heavy bikes that will be mounted more to the middle, and also lighter bikes. System isn't good for 50 to 60 pound bikes as my Schwinn stingrays often have issues with balance and slippage while in the mount. The grippers rubber coating is pealing off after only a few uses exposing the hard surface to my bike.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
