Great quality Droid.
A friend of mine had one of these when they first came out. For some reason Spinmaster stopped selling them. Haven’t been able to find a brand new one in the UK. It’s a great droid, does everything it says on the box. Once you learn to use BB-8 correctly he’s a joy to control. The animations are realistic as is the manual control movements. It is the best BB8 which can be found on the market. It gives the impression it is alive and communicates with you. However, for its price, I think there should be more features such as more verbal commands, sensors for overcoming walls etc. and face recognition. If you are getting it for your kids remember that they will get bored with BB8 very quick. If you are getting it for yourself (adult) it is also good because it is interactive. Extremely happy with this item!
So there are a lot of Star wars droids out there for around the same price. But you need to buy this one!!! First of all, it's huge! My 8 year old is in love with it and feels like he actually has his own Droid. Secondly, it's interactive!! He talks to it with commands and it responds accordingly! Great Droid, in the Mode RC works excellent, and also in follow me mode. Not working well in the mode Voice Command! Even the Astromech of R2D2 from hasbro not work well, that product was a disaster.
