Awesome Little Printer That Just Doesn't Quit
I wanted a economical printer that gives consistent performance without breaking the bank for printer ink. This prints using toner instead of ink cartridges and only prints B&W. That is just fine with me. I don't need laser quality prints for the art gallery. I need printed documents and this delivers. When you hit print, this thing shoot them out fast. No delays, no buffering. BOOM! Here ya go. Wired, wireless, any make or model of computer or smart phone. Very easy set up and user friendly. Questionable
OK so I have been with computers and printers now heavily since 1990. I really wanted to have a wireless printer and other reviews said this was cheap, good and relatively easy to install. I've spent now well over 1 hour messing with this...all I have been able to do is to wire it directly out of my iMac to print but no wireless capability so far. The directions, although seemingly ample, are not clear. You get a CD and when you insert it, is DIFFERENT from what the instructions tell you what to do. Perhaps eventually I will figure all this out but it's been torture so far. The price was attractive but I'll gladly spend $10 extra for better, more accurate and more conclusive directions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Samsung Xpress M2020W Laser Printer
The M2020W does what is expected of it. The support software does seem slow and cumbersome, but it does work most of the time. The printer is installed via a wireless connection to a small network of Windows 7 and a few XP computers along with three other printers. The wireless software is outstanding. Samsung evidently has tried to provide a one size fits all driver, status monitor and page set up software. I don't print a lot and just got fed up with my inkjet printer always having dried up ink when I wanted to use it. I had no idea I could buy a laser printer this inexpensively! Yes, it only prints in black, but that's 95% of all my printing needs anyway. It works perfectly. Small footprint, great print quality
Replaced an old Brother laser printer with this tiny, faster laser printer. Very happy with the quality. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is some issue with Windows 10 (just upgraded) where the wireless isn't working properly. Works for Chromebooks...
...but it took me 3 hours and a long conversation with their IT/customer service staff to figure out how to set it up for Cloud printing since my Chromebook does not have a DVD drive and there is no downloadable driver compatible with the Chromebook. If you are looking for a virtually maintenance free, easy to set up, high efficiency printer, here it is. I am happy with my Samsung Express M2020W laser printer.
While, I have only had this printer for a few weeks, I am looking forward to many happy years of printing. The printer was very easy to set up for wireless printing and it has printed everything I sent to it flawlessly. It is quiet and very compact, it will not be a space hog in your home office or computer room. The price was easy on the wallet and it solved a big problem that I was having with inkjet printer ink cartridges drying up. I wasted a lot of paper trying to print on my inkjet printer.......there is ink in the cartridge....but it still won't print. I guess this is a problem when you don't print very often. Just Right
I hate ink jet printers. I also hate ink jet colored printers. This Samsung is simple, black ink only and beautiful laser printing done fast.
