Wish I had bought one sooner!
The Bosch IXO is a fantastic little electric screwdriver, that I seem to be using constantly since moving home. It is the perfect assistant for ‘flat pack’ furniture assembly, and has an amazing amount of torque for its size, it charges up fully in a couple of hours and seems to maintain it for ages. Mine came in a nice, solid plastic box, with a 3 pin usb plug, usb lead and a nice selection of screw heads, but there are various buying options on the market, and a great choice of accessories, including an angled screwdriver adapter. Along with a 3 year guarantee, I would highly recommend this little cordless Bosch electric screwdriver, as I can access areas of furniture etc. that I cannot with my larger cordless Bosch drill using a screw head!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Compact and user friendly
Had I bought this for a lightweight project - a woodwork hobby or maybe to assemble a small flatpack bookcase for example, then I have no doubt that it would have been ideal. Also for someone with arthritic joints or other such problems, who have small tasks that need a screwdriver but not the necessary mobility/flexibility.. I wanted to use it for mending a small trellis fence and found it just not powerful or "heavy" enough. When I exerted pressure then the metal bits/attachments started to wear away ... the metal seemed quite soft, although I expect you can buy some stronger additional bits for it. I ended up using the old fashioned manual screwdriver! So, I'd recommend it for lightweight use but would in future pay more for something needing more power and strength.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best little cordless screwdriver kit
What can I say. Love it. Quick charges with a light so you know when it's changed. Has a battery low indicator. Also has a work light which is really handy so you can see what your doing when using the screwdriver. Came with a few essential bits. The handle is non slip. And it carries the reassuring Bosch name. You can buy extra components to attach to it. The carry case is too soft and dinks easy. But that's my only gripe. Ticks all of my boxes. "Designer" elements are a bit daft.
I like it, but the case is a bit of a faff. The material tag is bemusing and redundant, but it doesn't get in the way. The single LED light under the shaft is a bit useless, but that is common with all these drivers, It needs a ring light all around the shaft for it to be truly useful. It is comfy to hold and the direction switch is in a good place, but not quite suitable for one-handed operation, since it is not the easiest place to get your thumb to. It is compact, with good torque and not that loud, so all in all it is a good design. My only real gripe is the designer case, which does not help when it comes to storage. Being rounded prevents it from being stacked on a shelf, and I now keep it in my tool bag instead.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great tool
This tool is an improved item to my older one which is still going strong. The reverse switch has been moved so that it cannot be switched by accident, this was the only fault with the old one. Brilliant little screwdriver. Has enough torque for most small to medium woodscrews (though a smear of Vaseline on the thread helps). Charge lasts ages, holds charge when not in use and doesn't take long to recharge. Good light on the front too. Small and light it fits in your toolbox easily . I’ve found that constant screwing and unscrewing things over the years have given me wrist problems . It’s got a very long battery life between charges and comes with a mains charger , but handily uses a ‘android ‘ style connector to charge which means it can be charged via a usb car charger with a lead that cost a pound ! This is a very handy little tool, powerful enough to drive in the longest screws if a suitable pilot hole is drilled, making it easier to turn in the screws and stopping the wood splitting. There are add on chucks available that allow the torque to be pre-set so all screws go in with the same force.
