I replaced my old Series 7 with the new Series 9
I used Braun series 7 for almost 11 years, it was perfect choice as I have sensitive skin Recently (After 11 years) it had some functioning issue, then I decided to buy a new shaver, I did my research and decided to buy the same brand, I believe in German products and I believe in Braun as brand I decided to buy the series 9 this time, When I received it and start using it I felt sorry that I did not buy the series 9 when Braun launched it It is amazing new experience, the performance is totally deferent, and it is so smooth comparing with Series 7 Also it has less noise comparing to the old one I recommend those who want to buy a new shaver to buy the Series 9 and don’t waste their time and money on othersVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

First New Razor in a long time!
I was really impressed with the build quality of this razor. It is still running on its first charge and I purchased it 6 weeks ago! It is a large razor and some may find this off putting - I have easily got used to it. I have found it easy to clean with the brush, but I have yet to try the cleaning system - which I have no reason to believe it will be less than excellent.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent shaver but it’s not cheap
I have used Braun Shavers for most of my adult life. This is definitely the best one yet. It shaves very clean & doesn’t feel harsh on your skin The build quality is excellent as usual for Braun and the clean and renew station works very well, but the recommended use after each shave involves a 40 minute drying time which is not always convenient. It also means you will go through quite a lot of the cleaning fluid cartridges. The price of this shaver is one of the highest for any electric shaver however, and I’m not sure that even given its quality and effectiveness it warrants such a price seeing as my old 7 series was an excellent shaver & the new 7 series is better than the old one & still a lot cheaper than the 9 series. Having now used this shaver, I would have probably bought a new 7 series. It is certainly worth looking online as the retail prices for the 9 and the 7 are much higher in the shops.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Outstanding Performance
This is a very expensive shaver but it is very good and it justifies the reviews. I have alternated wet and dry shaving in the past but I have not had a wet shave since buying the Braun. I think the speed of oscillations is the key to the outstanding performance. Compared to shavers I have used in the past it is faster and closer. Always rated Philips savers higher - until this model.
I have been a long term owner and buyer of Philips Savers - for around 15 years now - I update them every year or so. During my long term Philips purchases I bought a few Braun savers and never rated them as highly as an overall package. This 9296 model however is amazing. I charged it today and had the closest shave I have had since I used to wet shave with foam (I know you can with this razer and some philips too, but I prefer the convenience and speed of a dry shave in the morning). Not only that but the cleaning dock you get with this is exceptionally well made - there is a fan inside that dries the unit after it cleans. The Best Electric Shaver
Having used this 9 series Braun shaver I can honestly say it gives me the best shave I ever have had! It's streets ahead of other shavers I've used over many years.
