Almost great......but
The clamp arrived damaged but I wasn’t surprised. I read numerous reviews and there is a general view that the plastic ends are fragile. The packaging is completely inadequate and doesn’t protect the end pieces. There are three plastic pieces (one of them slides and locks) but they won’t survive any kind of a drop or sharp knock. I’ve replaced the proven part with a fabricated metal piece and the clamp works well. I’m in the process of replacing both of the other pieces and should end up with a very useful tool. I suppose for the price it’s a reasonable buy but the quality nad material of the plastic components lets it down.

Cutting guide
Think it's good value for money and I only have one tiny criticism which is to make sure that you line up the clamp with a little sideways pressure while clamping up otherwise it moves slightly to one side and offline. What's not to like
Item arrived well packed and very quickly. It's nicely finished with a firm clamping action, low enough to clear even the lowest slung saw motor and high enough to give a positive stop / ridge to ride against. Great tool to help cut straight on lage sheets of ply.
Great straight edge for cutting large sheets of ply which I did with this great tool. Just align it with your line then clamp in position then saw away along the guide rail. Hand Held Circular Saw Guide Rail
I am delighted with rail guide as it does everything that it should without a fuss: However, should you try to use the guide for clamping things such as holding wood in place while glue sets remeber it foremost a saw guide and not a clamp. I have only one small niggle with it and that is its length and I find that the wood I need the guide for is mainly 750mm and below and the length makes a touch iunwieldy, I will be looking to find an 800mm guide to supplument the one I have. Been using my father in laws clamp for the last few years but he asked for it back to a job for himself.
