Does the job
I didnt know this existed until I started repairing daughters old bike. Discovered it had a freewheel NOT a cassette system. Wondered why the cassette removal tool wouldnt fit. Had to view several Park Tool videos to find out about the difference between freewheel and cassettes. Why Oh why are there so many incompatible systems on bikes? Sizing
I am very disappointed as I needed to use this with a Shimano 105 cassette and the external diameter is too big so it does not fit into the locking ring. Nothing in the packing states which Shimano cassettes it does fit. No fault of supplier but Park Tool needs to be more specific so people don’t waste their money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent tool
Bought this tool to remove the Shimano freewheel from our Tandem. With two people peddling, tandems generate a lot of torque, but, this item of equipment is very well made and removed the freewheel, no problem.
