Great pair of anc Bluetooth headphones
For the price the M2s are going now its hard to find any serious faults. The Anc is super effective, the interface with the phone app is very easy to use and understand. They are quite confortable for lo g periods of time. One really nice feature is, if we have the headphones turned off, if we approach the phone with the nfc turned on on the right ear cup the headphones will power on automatically which is super practical. The construction is decent, even though, mostly made of plastic, we have some creaking noise from the hinges. Sound quality is is great with any of the codecs I've tried, even though, by using Ldac on my work office I got major skipping when the sound priority was set to maximum on the android developer settings, by switching to best effort the skipping disappeared, when at my home, the skipping stopped, I wonder if dozens of computers, phones and WiFi interfere with the radio signal needed for ldac. Overall, I think we cannot go wrong wit this set of anc headphones, great sound quality, excellent 30h battery life, confort, charging times and overall build quality. The good, the bad, and the ok.
The good - nice looking, work with wire when battery's dead, very good noise cancellation. Compact (for over ear) carry case. The mini usb - rather than usb c, fits all my existing cables. Very good battery life, and they work by wire when the battery's dead. The bad - Swipe controls very hit and miss and make an distracting 'ding' sound. Not as comfortable as hyped - sweaty and pinch. No charger in the box and the warranty that requires you only charge them through a laptop - but I found a Sony support reply which recommendeds any 5v 1.5amp or 0.5amp usb wall charger. Impressive Headphones
As soon as I synced these to my music library I knew I’d made a good investment. Sound quality is superb. Build quality is good too. The noise cancelling is very effective. Blue tooth connection is easy. The touch pad on the right ear cup is surprisingly intuitive and handy for advancing/retarding track, changing volume etc. My wife has the XM3 version and although there are some advances to these I actually prefer the XM2 version simply because the XM3 has a plastic headband compared to the metal headband on the XM2 giving the feel of a superior build quality. The XM3 is however lighter with the plastic headband. Both have a bit of a ‘WOW’ factor. Ended up buying another three pairs for my grown up kids. Amazing Headphones
As a programmer in an open plan office, I use headphones all day, every day to cut out the background noise. For years (15+) I have favored in ear plugs, which normally last about two years before the cables fray, or the silicon bits get stuck in your ear - which is uncomfortable, and can be embarrassing if you have to ask a (Female) colleague if they have a tweezers to fish said silicon out of the ear. So this year I started trying on ear headphones - Some have springs so strong that after about 30 minutes you feel that your head has been in a vise - which, when you think about it, it has! I use headphone all the time, so am not shy about spending some of my hard earned cash on them! ... so I did some research - (Google is your Friend). As it turns out these headphones were highly recommended! .... Good enough for me - I thought! .... So I duly ordered a pair! These headphones are all day comfy ... sometime you do get a bit hot - but hey ... you gotta take breaks every so often too!! I love the noise cancelling and ambient sound functionality! And how cool is it to put your palm over the right can to hear what the interruption is all about! Fact - I work in an office of 15 developers. & have these headphones, and the juniors wish they could afford them! Oh yeah - They are also really good for conference calls Skype/Zoom etc., Be advised the build in microphone is REALLY sensitive! Do I recommend! ... Oh yes! .. you should try these!! Great product would definitely recommend
These really are the best noise cancelling headphones I’ve tried and the battery on these is amazing. I use them for about 3-4 hours a day and the battery lasts a good week. I’m used to only wearing in ear headphones, so comfort is a must and these are very comfortable. I get a train to work each day. Sometimes I just wear them without music to cut out all the annoying noise around me. The only downside I would say is that if you’re doing a lot of long excise over ear headphones can get a bit sweaty, but with normal use not at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best quality/feature-set for money
Awesome headphones. Noice cancelling is superb. They feel comfortable to wear even with glasses. Although I still need to get used to the noise cancelling and I feel like I need a rest when trying to wear them during most of my workday. The battery life is out of this world. I often forget when I last charged the headphones. Software update was a bit finicky, but it helped to turn off my bluetooth on my BLE devices temporarily. While QC35s might be more comfortable, I think WH-1000XM2s offer best bang for the buck you can get right now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The best
These are probably the best BT noise-canceling headphones right now. There is very little fault you can find in these. Only thing is the BT connection switching is a bit of a hassle because the headphones support one connection at a time, so you need to manually disconnect and connect when switching devices. Everything else is superior to other offerings. Fantastic sound, impressive battery life, comfortable fit and weight, and quality built. The seller did an excellent job with delivery. Good phones but you need to understand the technology.
A very good set of blue tooth head phones that I was able to secure at a good price. I would have given five stars but I have found, probably to do with my age, that they can be a nightmare to set up and pair with other components. Nothing is straight forward, everything is different. By the time I have managed something I have forgotten how I did it and for a lot of the time you need a smart phone!
