Pizza time!
I had never heard of a pizza stone before a friend mentioned one in conversation, telling me how he cooked pizzas on his kettle type BBQ. Looking at the many stones for sale in eBay, I chose this one as it comes with a thick wooded board to make the pizzas and a cutter, we have used the stone most weekends having lots of fun building our own take on the perfect pizza. The stone is big enough to take a standard 'box' type pizza purchased from the local shop to give an idea of size. The only negative is, if like me you load your pizza with way too much cheese etc, if it runs off the pizza onto the stone and gets burned on to the stone. The staining is near impossible to clean. But it doesn't effect the function of the stone though. I would definitely recommend getting one of these pizza stones, even my parents who are in their 70's had fun building their own take on the perfect pizza.

Pizza stone kit
I heard so much about the pizza stone but never thought it could make a huge difference in baking my pies. I mean I’ve always made exceptionally good pizza but when I used the stone correctly I scored top marks easily. The stone is light weight but retains heat the pizza bored is a thick bulky wooden bored which I imagined it will be a thin piece of wood the cutter is a medium size a bit small for my large hands. The pizza stone is a good size and it's likely to be durable as it's pretty thick. Pizza stones are pretty tricky to handle with the pizza on but thats where the board comes in - simply slide the pizza straight onto the pre-heated stone in the oven and slide it off when it's done.
