Updating old fireplace
This is perfect and looks more expensive than it is.. it didn't need cutting as fits perfectly behind my electric fire which im replacing with a electric stove (hasn't arrived yet) ...I sprayed the board with wd-40 just as an extra protective layer (read online someone done that) im so impressed going to buy the matching hearth and paint mantle white to finish the look :)

Quality fireback to enhance decor fire
This fireback is reversible, granite on one side and stone on the other. It can be permanently fitted to a wooden fire surround or drilled and screwed to the wall to disguise evidence of a former fire. Either way, when in place, it results in a stunning finish to a fire surround and decor fire with the option to reverse it at a future date. It is a standard size so will fit most stock fire surrounds. Initially it can be affixed to the wall using strong tape and when satisifed the wall can be drilled. The fireback must be carefully drilled using a sharp wood drill. Do not attempt to drill through the fireback with a masonry drill.
