Better than I thought. Had to get a 2nd one for wife
I work in industrial Maintenance and I use 20 volt impact drivers all the time. We have an issue of breaking off smaller nuts and bolts with those drivers. So I got this as an alternative for the smaller screws and bolts that don't need to be that tight to prevent snapping them off and having to drill them out and use either extractors or taps to repair the damage caused by the more powerful impact drivers. This had plenty of power for 1/4 - 20 bolts and electrical panels, etc. I liked this one so much for work I got my wife one for home. Do not buy there is no quality control process.
Do not by these refurbished power tools. Ordered 2 not sure if either works because both batteries were dead and would not take a charge. It literally takes seconds to put in a battery to check if has power. Vrey handy, one device and a little box of bits and you can toss the regular screwdrivers.
Very convenient when doing certain light projects. You don't need to look for the reversing switch, just tilt you hand. Works in any position, flat and level, overhead or down to the floor. Perfect for what it's supposed to do
This won't replace a full size drill but does exactly what it says it's going to do. It's much more convenient to carry in my tool bag than my full size drill without taking much room. This one is the best!
Dewalt 8 volt inline screwdriver. They did this one right, There is nothing on it that does not need to be there (NO silly flashlight, NO bit holder, NO circuit tester) it is just a really great screwdriver. I have a few different brands and sizes of power screwdrivers, but this one is the best! I hope they never discontinue this one.
