Oxford Diecast 76FS002 Ford Sierra Sapphire 1/76 Scale Notts Constabulary OO Scale
Having been hunting for this model for some time I was delighted to receive this example by Oxford Diecast which hands completely in the air is a total BEAUT and full of character. The Nottinghamshire Constabulary colours also add charisma being excellently reproduced by Oxford as one of their hallmarks I most admire about these small but brilliantly manufactured models. The detail is amazing and don't let the fact that this is only OO Scale or 1/76: Comparatively small to the 1/43 and 1/24 scale models on the market put you off. As I have yet to come across a sensibly priced 1/43 scale model of a Ford Sierra ... Anything and the Ford Sierra has never been manufactured except for the Kiddie's market by Matchbox in the 1990s. Sadly not to a standard I would recommend to the discerning collector and also because as a 'Made in Macau' Matchbox model instead of a Lesney original the suspension fails quickly having been flimsily made in the first place! 10 / 10 Oxford Diecast and hurry because these are popular selling models where available.
