DTT does NOT equate to Old TV
This is NOT a ‘silver bullet’ for digital TV signal; it was fine for the old ANALOG SYSTEM but Now we’ve gone digital and it is simply NOT THE TOOL for this day! Beside that mine never worked .. Don’t waste your time & money, do your homework & study up on DBV-T signal/reception. In Digital it’s more about digital error rate than signal strength , thus the ‘time lag’ as it compares & corrects for reception. Try beginning antenna position with the FCC help guide which uses your address & provides direction/strength for your channels: then examine their frequencies & be sure your antenna spec covers all frequencies. Will you have to have a rotor? Give it a whirl but know we’ve entered a new dimension with this digital tv & it ain’t what it used to be-all about signal strength.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

To sensitive
It is to sensitive for my application. I have an active antenna. When power is off the device does not show any reading. When power is on it goes to max scale. It has an adjustment to tune the meter but it is just to sensitive. It is either to low or too high can't get in the middle of meter. That is my experience.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Readings are too wide beyond the actual signal area.
Full strength signal is too wide at 45 degrees from center even when tuned all the way down. Signal loss is within 15 degrees from center on the antenna, so a full strength reading beyond this does not help. I was informed that the meters are pre tested, and it does operate, but not near enough to be helpful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
