Good Value
We are a commercial company and have used AJ mixers for years without a hitch (used on a daily basis). We bought this bit of kit because we knew the motor would be up to the job when we wanted to do a chorizo mix. Not disappointed - churns out the mix well. Only downsides are the amount of mix left in the machine (can't get around that) and the nozzle for the sausage maker has two ridges which splits the casings for the sausages if you use the dry collagen type. I rated this item three stars because of the chopper even though stainless steel is flimsy. Also, the fact that when blending you can only hold it down for not more than 5 seconds a pulse otherwise it will stop because the motor has gone hot and starts to smell burnt. However, it blends well and the glass is robust. Just beware of the 5 seconds pulse intermittent when blending.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to use and works well.
Wasn't sure how this would work out but so far, - two uses, - so good. Some bits eg the top tray and plastic plunger are a bit flimsy but the important parts, - all the grinding stuff, are very heavy and sturdy. Made medium size mincemeat out of venison, - 3lbs first time, 5lbs second time and everything worked well with great results. Great performer
The grinder is easy to assemble. The meat goes through the grinder very easily and quickly. I have only used it to grind meat so I cannot comment on the sausage making part. You do need quite strong wrists to disassemble the parts after use - I think I maybe screwed the fixing ring on more tightly than was necessary though. I am pleased with the grinder and would recommend it. Although the machine is not really compact, it is not really big and it is not heavy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simplicity
The instructions are a bit useless, but there's not much to it to go wrong from a user point. Make sure the cutting plate is tight against the blade and the blade is facing flat side forward. Bought this to make game sausages and burgers. I put 8kg of meat through it on its début and it performed to perfection. Great bit of kit, highly recommended. Compact -Well-made mincer and meat grinder
