Great watch but one contrast dilemma
I've only had the watch for a day, and though you shouldn't judge anything in one sitting, I will. I've owned about four G-shocks in the last 20 years. All of them are great -- ALL. This one is similarly great. The buttons are great. It is solar powered, which is the number one feature I wanted. The strap is comfortable but like my last one (Giez), the strap broke in 7 years and again in 6 years, and since I could not find a replacement strap, I picked up this one. Backlight is excellent. So why a 4-star? I read (watched) another review and he noted that it was hard to see. I ignored it b/c I'm middle aged, and thought it wasn't a big deal. And well, it is kind of hard to read in the dark. The hands will glow and the backlight will provide enough light BUT by default, the contrast of hands to the dial is the only downside -- especially for an older person. Note: I will keep this watch. It's fantastic and I'm committed b/c well, I bought it on Ebay and do not want to trouble the seller. So beware about the color hand contrast. Other than that, great watch.

Best G-Shock for the price.
I bought this G-Shock after purchasing and selling the much desired CasiOak G-Shock because I could not read the data on the CasiOak. This Ana-Digi Dial World Time solved that problem. It is large on the wrist, which is what you might expect with a G-Shock, but it is a great looking watch. It has all the functionality one would want in a watch. Simple, tough, useful and solar
No brainer- solar, tough, analog. not having a sweep second hand isn't perfect but the digital display is mostly visible, just have to get used to it. It's a big, heavy hulk of a watch, which I like. But you should try it out, first, if it's a worry for youVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
