    THEY DO WORK FOR RODENTS AS DESCRIBED IN MY REVIEW.

    I HAVE BEEN USING THESE UNITS AT THEIR HIGHEST SETTING FOR 20 YEARS.......THEY ARE VERY EFFECTIVE FOR RODENT CONTROL......NOT INSECTS..........THEY ARE MOST EFFECTIVE IN METAL BUILDINGS WHERE THE SOUND CAN REVERBERATE...100% EFFECTIVENESS IN MY EXPERIENCE.......THEY ARE SLIGHTLY LESS EFFECTIVE IN WOOD FRAME BUILDINGS BUT DO KEEP OUT 80% OF THE PESTS. SINCE THE SOUND THEY PRODUCE IS QUITE ANNOYING THEY ARE NOT PRACTICAL FOR CONTINUAL USE IN INHABITED AREAS.......MINE ALL HAVE AN ON OFF SWITCH WIRED IN SO THAT WHEN I ENTER THE BUILDING I CAN TURN IT OFF. AS AN UNINTENDED ANCILLARY BENEFIT SOME FOLKS THINK THEY ARE AN INTRUSION ALARM.

    Bugs not gone

    I live in Georgia where there is a lot of rodents and fly bugs. There was a rodent problem not sure if it is why no more rats coming in...but I am getting a lot of flying bugs still. This product states that it would repell flying insects and rodents, I have one downstairs and one upstairs, I see dead bugs that comes in under the door, two lizards came in, just don't know how well it's working...sorry

    DOESN"T WORK as stated in the product description.

    Does not work to deter mice. Still catching mice in traps right next to the device. Although it is set up in an enclosed area outside the noise it makes drives me nuts, and the sound waves interfere with battery operated devices.

    Doesn't work as intended.

    I've tried everything to keep squirrels and birds out of my fig tree. I read about the device and what professionals were saying about high frequency sounds to ward off animals. The noise irritates my grandaughter, but the animals keeps stealing the fruit. I should rent a pitbull and tie him up next to the tree. Waste of money.

    Effective

    I've tried many different repellers and this one works best, lasts longer and has more frequency variables to deter a variety of pests .... After years of running one down in my basement, I heard some scratching in a wall this fall.... I went downstairs, repositioned the repeller towards the noise, set it for rodents and they disappeared... The trick is to switch it up occasionally...change frequencies and reposition or the pests become innured... This is my 3rd unit and I've brought it to Switzerland and found a 12v charger that has the same plug... The squirrels disappeared overnight in my studio...well made, I've had them running off and on for years without a hiccup... I even ran one outside one winter (under cover) to deter squirrels...

    Poor quality w poor performaance.

    Cheap...had to replace it after two weeks of use. Does not provide coverage/deterrence for advertised area. Birds quickly became accustomed to it and began ignoring it completely.
