I wanted an additional nozzle for my hoses. I had one like this already, so I knew it was good. I've had my old one for years and it still works well. It was better value to buy this starter set than to just get another nozzle, so I now have a couple of spare connectors. I would have rated it above 3 stars, but 4 stars is described as "better than expected". Its not better than expected, because I knew what to expect! Easy to use and great value for money
I bought this to replace my last Hozelock hose starter set. Old one lasted over 10 years, so I knew I would do well buying the same again. It is easy to assemble and then easy to use. purchased to replace existing hozelock which was stood on!!Not good idea size13's. Reliable hose pipe fittings.
Well made fittings. Over the (many) years I have had various fittings. Those "other makes" which came with hose pipes would last two or three years before getting wobbly and stiff to release. I ended up buying Hozelock, which lasted at least fifteen years, and are now just beginning to become more difficult to release. I reckon that's a good service record. I had no hesitation in buying Hozelock again, and the price was very reasonable. Yes, you can save a bit by going for the cheap versions, but it really isn't worth the effort.
