Probably on of the best dedicated mp3 players out there
Firstly, this is a quality piece of kit.
It feels solid in the hand made from lovely anodized alloy and that is reflected in what it inside.
This has a good quality DAC and separate OP amp chip which means it processes sound in a similar way to the best separates audio players.
There are no EQ settings - much like high end hi-fi , but you dont need distracting treble/bass controls.
The user interface is simple, buttons are high quality and the player is very stable.
it is easy to use.
It will take 2 x 128gb cards but they are quite expensive.
I have two of these , both with cheap ten quid 64gb cards and they work like a chap.
It drives full sized headphones with ease, and the separate line out jack connects to your hi fi or car aux jack for superb quality sound.
Drag and drop you music onto the micro sd cards, no messing with stupid interfaces like itunes.
Sound quality is best described as pure.
If you are used to high end separates, you will appreciate it.
It doesnt colour the sound, and wav files sound incredible, as do high quality mp3`s.
it will also play flac files.
I also have the older xduoo X2 which is a lovely player, with some interface issues.
This is a whole different level and sounds better than any mp3 player I have heard, including the products of a certain USA fruit based brand.
it kicks their efforts into the weeds and shows them for the overpriced efforts they are,
