This is one of the best very low cost new stands you can get, but people who plan to use it long-term should be aware that some parts are made of plastic

Perfect stand for a practice pad or light home use. Not for gigging.
The Mapex S200 snare stand is great value for the money. I find it sturdy and well made. It's not a gigging stand really but for a practice pad (What I'm using it for) or for light home use it is ideal. What do you expect for £29 delivered?

Quite a good strong stand.
This is a good well made stand. It is quite strong and heavy enough to support the drum so that the two together do not end up being top heavy and unstable. It is double braced and well finished in chrome. It has quite a range of adjustment for height and the size of your drum. I am well pleased with it.
