Very good Nashorn
I’ve built many Tamiya tanks & tank destroyers & this kit is without doubt the best I’ve had. My personal favourites are the two King Tiger’s & I love the Panthers & the other tanks are really good kits in their own right but this Nashorn is way above the others. There’s a lot more steps to do, usually Tamiya kits have around 20 steps, this has 50. As this is an open fighting compartment there is a lot more detail of the fighting compartment. The gun & mounting is a real work of art, the barrel is slide moulded (every other I’ve built has been in two halves) so you could build this straight from the box. I’ve used an Aber metal barrel because I think they look & feel better. For such a great kit Tamiya have used the horrible “rubber band” type of tracks which went straight in the bin & I’ve replaced them with the excellent Friul Model metal tracks which in my opinion are the best & give the correct sagging seen on most German tanks. This is really the only thing I can complain about this kit, it seems a cheap skate way of putting tracks on, Tamiya do make proper link & length tracks so why they’re not supplied with this kit is a little bit of a mystery. I don’t usually use figures with my models but in this kit Tamiya have excelled themselves & I will definitely be adding them to this superb kit. 3 decal options (I’m going for the Italian front option) & a very nice glossy booklet displaying all around camouflage painting patterns instead of the usual ‘side on view’. All in all this is an excellent kit of the Nashorn & apart from the tracks & my preference for metal barrels would be the perfect kit. Without doubt the best kit in my opinion Tamiya have issued & you get a lot of bang for your buck & I highly recommend this kit. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

As ever Tamiya produce a cracking kit.
As usual, Tamiya pull out all the stops to produce an excellent kit of this Tank Destroyer. Although its not for a beginner modeller. As long as you follow the excellent instructions, you should be OK. Kit includes a detailed fighting compartment and 4 good figures.
