Plane stands
Needed stands for my two heavy metal planes , the large ones where the right size ,but I had to super glue the struts to the base to make them strong enough to carry the heavy planes. When I took a picture of my 6 planes because they are clear plastic, they look like they are flying !!!!?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 .

Airfix display stands.
Inside the bag you get a total of 12 stands 6 small 4 medium and 2 larger stands. The stands are best suited to 1/72 scale aircraft with the smallest only being suitable for the smallest aircraft like me163 or yak. A spitfire or p47 would need the medium size, and the two biggest stands could hold a smaller bomber like Bristol beaufighter. They are fairly strong and easy to assemble but the fitment is different than the kits and requires more cutting of the aircraft than it should.

These stands are great, and there are three sizes of stands in each bag. But it's a shame they aren't sold in individual sizes. I build 1/48 scale kits and the small stands are no use to me. If anyone needs stands for 1/72 scale kits I have loads of them!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wondered why Airfix deleted their display stands!!!! Only just found out that they are separate as I have just purchased two lots!!!!
