Very close
Not quite the 'Very Tele' sound of my older Squire. I did have it set up professionally and I did radius the body at 2 points for comfort. All in all, very pleased. Bought mine"used, in excellent condition", and it Was! I Would recommend the ' Affinity models.

Surprising quality and performance for the money great sounding vintage pups
This guitar looks absolutely awesome with the authentic semi-darkened butterscotch blond clear finish and single ply black guard. More importantly the special pups used are "vintage" and sound really good either twanging or rocking out. The output is not as strong as some higher end pups but most amps havel volume knobs so no issue for me. I highly recommend this even for serious gigging performers who need that authentic tele sound package without the bank breaking cost of the "real" Fender version. No, it doesnt play like a USA Fender but it is not bad on playability and I had no problem setting this guitar up with great action and no buzzing or "lost" high notes. Tele of love
I wasn't sure if I would like this Tele till I got it....Let me say this was the most pleasant surprise of my guitar life. This was an amazing deal and the BANG for the BUCKS can't be touched...I was at another music store and picked up another Affinity and it wasn't nearly as well finished or assembled. Awesome guitar for starters
Came in completely unscathed and plays beautifully. The guitar came in a gig bag and came with it’s original instructions and alan keys so setup was fast and easy. This guitar is warm and bright just as you would expect from a tele. There was some fret sprout but that is to be expected.

Good bones, needs work
I had to level the frets and clean up the nut slots to get it to play well and stay in tune, but now it plays great. The bridge pickup sounds pretty good, but the neck is not so great. These guitars have good bones, and they are great to mod, but if you don't want to spend the money on fretwork, and new pickups, you might be better off buying an actual Fender.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
