Very nice, efficient, fairly quiet. Keeps my room nice and cool.
Love this Twindow fan! Had one for years, it got old but still functioned more or less. So I bought another brand-new one, and I'm so glad I did! The auto temp feature is really nice. I think it's really neat the way that you can have air flow inward, outward or BOTH at the same time! It really clears the room of stale air quickly. This one makes a rattling noise
First thing I noticed after opening the box the original box was missing. I purchased 3 of these fans over the years and they always come in a box with a picture on it . This one can in a brown cardboard box. Then, when I turn it on it makes a rattling noise , unlike my other fans. My first thought is I received a refurbished fan, so I checked my order and it was suppose to be new. The fan works, but this one is noisy. I'm not happy .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great window fan unit!
This fan is really nice and comes out of the box pretty much ready to use. The only thing you'll need to add is two AAA batteries for the remote if you want to use that. The fan has three basic modes, one to pull air into the house, one to push air out of the house, and an exchange setting where one fan circulates air in while the other fan circulates air out. The provided remote is nice if you leave the fan running at night and want to be able to change the settings or turn the fan off without getting out of bed. I find the thermostat on the fan to be particularly helpful, as it's always nice to have an idea of the temperature in the surrounding air. My only complaint is about the cord. For a device that's meant to sit in a specific place (like a window) to only have a cord that's about a meter long, you're probably going to need an extension cord to plug it in. Setting it up in the window was really easy. The fan comes with plastic extender blades in case your windows are a little wider than normal, so there's a lot of flexibility in how the fan fits in and sets up. I live in New England without AC, so this fan has been a lifesaver so far this summer in helping cool down my hot apartment in the evenings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
