Takes the effort out of ironing - brilliant!
I had a steam press many years ago and always loved it. The up to date version is fantastic and so easy to use. It is much easier than using an iron which tends to hurt my hands when I am ironing for any length of time. You can press virtually everything necessary. The ESP2 has been designed for ease of use and is much roomier and minimises any chance of accidentally getting burnt (the older one did not open so widely). The safety cut out switch and the audible warning sounds ensure that you do not have any accidents with the garments and the different settings are self explanatory and easy to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent machine
Easy to set up and use. -lowed through my ironing and set it on wooden chest which I could sit in front of. With a damaged right shoulder the back and forth of a normal ion painful. This is a gentle pull to press perfectly and a pair of trousers in about five movements . Three for waistband and two for legs which could be pressed together! Cut your ironing time byanything up to two thirds. Quality unit and light enough and small enough to store at bottom of double wardrobe with plenty of space either side. Money well spent.
My most hated chore is now a pleasure after investing in my Singer steam press. It's so easy to use and gives my laundry items a proffesional look from shirts to king size duvets. One press of the steam button smoothes out the most stubborn creases. Great steam press but patience needed!
I've only used my steamer once but deffo needs patience. It does what it says it will do but there's a knack to doing shirts and trouser legs and I think i was getting the hang of it after half an hour! It's a piece of equipment which you will get better at until you are a pro! It really is good, but don't expect to learn the knack in one visit. And I'm a guy and women are always much better at this kinda thing as they are more fussy and patient! Saves time and effort.
I was finding ironing large items more difficult and this 'iron' has helped to cut down the time and effort quite a lot. I'm still learning how to get the best out of it - shirts and blouses need to be approached in different way but I might be too fussy. The main thing to understand is that this item presses any creases in rather than ironing them out! I will still use my ordinary iron for tricky things but in general it has saved time. Make ironing more pleasurable
As a long term user of an ironing press I thought my old press was great. But after deciding the Singer Esp 2 would be my next press I was not expecting the the result. It is by far so much better and considerably lighter.
