A good little kit for the money
The picks are made of reasonable quality spring steel as are the tension wrenches, some sanding is required as the laser cutting has left them with a rough finish and some of the picks need filing down to fit in euro keyways, but as a basic beginners kit it is well worth the money. The padlock is way too easy to pick even for a beginner like my self so I'd say it's more suited to demonstrate how a padlock works rather than being a practice lock. Lock pick set
I tried the picks on a lock (my own lock at home) and one of them broke inside. It took me a while to get the pick out so in the bin they went. A nice beginner's kit
A good way to get started with lock picking. The transparent lock lets you see what you're doing but you soon won't need to look. The tools are of reasonable quality but obviously not the best at this price. Some friends bought similar kits and I bought some extra locks. I realised that (as with real locks) some of these transparent locks are just easier to open than others. Yes! a good comprehensive set of picks with all the amateur needs, although there is just one them shaped like a capital Y that I cannot find the use for anywhere, it would be better with a list of contents naming the picks. Good! But not so easy..
Quality is ok but I think it must be me because it’s not as easy as it looks. I have managed to open the padlock supplied a few times but no joy on a regular one I found in my garage.
