Capable of highly complex measurements and standards, but also can be used very simply.
For a knuckle dragger like myself, I was a little apprehensive about buying such a specialized, technical, and expensive piece of equipment. The unit comes with a single page laminated quick start guide that is pretty helpful, but once you figure out the basics you don't really need it anymore. There is a large instruction manual about 1" thick with large exploded diagrams and well labeled pictures, though it feels like the finer points on the procedures is sort of glossed over. Kind of like, hey here's the calibration title page, here are the steps, but without finer explanation of the steps themselves. Having said that, I still figured it out. There is a ton of adjustments, constraints, and standards you can use, but I'm sure I'll never need to use 95% of them in a small one man operation. I'm glad I made the purchase and am able to now prove those surface finishes!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
