Great Kettle
Ordered this kettle at a great price, and it arrived within 48 hours. We have been using it for several weeks now and we can't fault it in any way. It feels solid, pressing the button opens the lid and pressing the other button lights it up and boils the water. This is the quickest boiling kettle I have ever used, and considering how fast it boils it is really quiet. Once boiled, the grip on the handle is secure and the water pours out without splashing like some other kettles I have owned. I can highly recommend this item, and the best praise I can give it is to say that when it eventually packs in I will look at replacing it with an identical model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Whilst this kettle ticks all the boxes as to value that is nothing surprising as ou all know this before you buy. I do have on issue and that is even after a couple of weeks regular use the water still tastes metallic something which I did not experience with my last one of the same make and similar spec. Fast Boil with lots of noise. Water taste is good.
Breville kettles are easy to rid of that dreadful new taste. With some kettles, the funny taste remains no matter what you do. I bought this kettle after not being able to enjoy a brew out of other branded kettles that are impossible to rid of the awful taste. I always go back to Breville for that reason. Good brand bought at a good price in the sale so happy with it.
Nice looking kettle but does get hotter then expected on the outside.However,it matches perfectly with my other silver appliances and it’s a good brand.Only other negative is that the water indicator is just on one side and the glass is quite dark so sometimes difficult to see how much water is in.( I probably need to wear my glasses more often)!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Breviie colour change kettle, i rate this 100%,Last one lasted me 12 years.
I originally bought this kettle 12 years ago(been updated not by much) its the best kettle I have ever bought, I would absolutely recommend . I'm sure this will last the same life time so Breville keep making them (by the way if you change your kitchen colour change the kettle colour to match. This smart looking kettle not only looks good with a smooth gripping handle but is fast boiling and can hold more water than others which is what I need having a large family. Doesnt boil water very well
Doesnt boil water hot enough to brew tea.
