Great Kettle
This is the second Kenwood kettle I've had and as I was pleased with the first I ordered this one. The lid flicks open easily to refill which is the reason I bought my first one- great design and I'd tested others out for comparison. The switch with the light goes off automatically and flicks up when it has boiled and it's handy to look at the light to see if it's ready. The light on my old one started flickering so I bought this new one but I'd had my old one a long time and it still boiled and the switch still went off automatically. You can boil it again straight away. It has a filter in the spout which can be easily removed for cleaning. I like the colour-grey and white and the design shape is sleek and simple which makes it easy to clean on the outside.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn't last long...overpriced!
It just broke...finished...it didn't even last two years! It took a while for the water to start heating up. The handle got rather sticky over time. And for that it didn't last long it's totally overpriced. In fact I believe I ought to be given a replacement! Almost perfect
The kettle is noisier than its identical predecessor and the grip handle feels as though the rubberised coating is breaking away. It feels gritty. Perhaps this kettle has been in stock for a very long time or maybe it was made a long time ago. The button on the handle to release the lid is an excellent system and overall the kettle is very easy to handle and fill. It boils very quickly which pleases my wife, who's always got her nose in a mug of tea! The kettle itself is very easy to handle and it sits easily on its base.
