The Perricone MD No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow is an excellent primer for other eyeshadow products as well as a "stand alone" if used as your only product. It does mattify the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and crepe skin on the eyelids when used alone. The perfectly nude base for eyeshadow or no makeup makeup
I've read some complaints that this eyeshadow has no color at all - not quite true. It does have a medium beige color which, when blended on the skin, looks like you have nothing on, just like the name suggests, "no eyeshadow eyeshadow". This is the point, having a perfect working base that is totally neutral. If worn alone, it is a great "no makeup makeup" eye color that gives you the look of perfect eyelid, invisible even through Simplehuman enlarging mirror! It does smooth the fine wrinkles and makes eyelids look more youthful. It is not supposed to give a color, it is THE BASE, totally naked looking base.
