Great Performance Bad Quality
Great audio from these microphones as you would expect from astatic, crisp and clear. Now the bad part, build quality. For a microphone from a big name the build quality is terrible. The mic is very light which in itself isn't a problem but the ptt switch is very brittle and the screws that hold the mix together round off very easily. If this mic was £20 new then it would be the buy of the century. But for £50 it needs to be built better. Not impressed
I owned a teardrop back in the day and it was very well made and excellent quality so bought this red devil expecting the same but its very cheap and nasty and nothing special in the audio , shame astatic is regarded as top brand but this mic feels and looks like a Chinese toyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
