Great Kettle
This is my second kettle of this design my last one is still going strong after four years but needed another kettle so had no hesitation in getting exactly the same model. It is the best kettle I have ever owned and believe me I have had quite a few. It boils quickly , sits well on the base and the handle makes it easy to hold. Good quality product with handy features but an unnecessary beep!
Good kettle, easy to use, boils reasonably quickly (compared to my old kettle). The water level is easy to read and the different temperature settings are really good (especially for coffee as I hear 90'C is better). Great kettle
Have been using this kettle for around three weeks. Compared to my previous Russell Hobbs, which was a bit of a Reliant Robin of a kettle, this is definitely a more luxurious model. Boils water quickly, even when full & the keep warm function is useful. Love the flip up lid and the nice wide opening makes it easy to fill. Fairly quiet when boiling & the single beep at the end is far better than a whistling kettle that doesn’t stop until heat source removed or the annoying kettle that keeps boiling for 5 minutes more than needs to, filling the kitchen with steam and giving you an unnecessary sauna. Good, clear gauge on the side means you can just boil the amount of water needed. Watching the temperature symbols light up in a pleasing red colour as the kettle gets up to temperature is more interesting than most of the tv channels and makes tea making quite a fun, interesting experience. Not too heavy to lift and the handle makes it feel sturdy and gives confidence that it won’t slip out your hand and spill boiling water over your feet. Living in an area of extremely hard water where we have to clean kettle weekly, the smooth metal interior makes the kettle easy to de scale and the mesh filter does a great job of collecting limescale, although I found it a little fiddly to remove to clean.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Advanced features
This is a robust well-thought out kettle. It has a larger footprint because of the control panel. It is best used on a lower temperature if you are not waiting for it to boil. Switch on again when you are ready to fully boil the water. 90 degrees is hot enough for me. Some kettles have poor sensory control which leave the kettle producing steam for what seems like minutes. You can buy a kettle for a lot less than you would pay for this one, but sometimes the extra cost is justified and this is a case in point. This kettle is very stylish, quick to boil, keeps the water warm longer than you might expect and is extremely well made. Clean simple lines, nice wipe clean surface, good quality materials and build. Pricey but worth the money. I'd recommend this easily.
