Why Couldn't 80's Kens Be This Handsome?
One of my greatest pet peeves about growing up was the fact that Ken dolls in the 80s were so ugly, that bullet-head head mold made me wince. Come to think of it, I really wasn't much of a Barbie fan in general, preferring My Little Pony and Strawberry Shortcake as my playmates. Now that I'm a doll collector, I have come to appreciate the vintage designs of Barbie and Ken from their earlier 50s and 60s days, as well as the more recent additions from the Pink Collection.
