Gentle smoothing face wash.
This face cleanser is a pale cream colour lightweight lotion and like all Elemis products you only need to use a little product. I have a mature skin which veers towards combination type, I also have some dark patches and sun damage on parts of my face. I have used this wash once or twice a week and it does have a smoothing effect similiar to exfoliation however I feel that this feeling does not last long. It does not leave your face dry and tight but you do feel a slight sensation of tautness and I have had no reaction to any of the ingredients in it. I have found that once you apply serum, moisturiser and suntan lotion then the smooth feeling has gone and my face is back to its normal state. I think that you would need to use an exfoliator at sometime in the week and this product as a back up to that , this wash could be a kind exfoliator for sensitive skin as it definitely isn't a harsh wash.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A little goes a long way
I have hummed & haaed over this product for ages before deciding to buy. A little goes a long way & it's nice to massage in before washing over. My skin definitely felt softer but as for smoother not really sure. I also wasn't too sure about using it twice as day as to me that seems quite excessive for a resurfacing product. It was as I thought too much for my skin which I would not class as dry at all. My nose suffered the most becoming very dry & flaky. I also experienced lots of little spots coming up on both cheeks.
