Ronseal Garden Paint hi
The paint is quite thin so if you just want to show the wood through it it'll probably take one or two layers.. I've been painting in this summer's crazy heat so it's been drying quickly but I suspect it would be good anyway. They seem to be selling off a lot of it so if you want to paint something cheaply, find somewhere that has sufficient pots.!
