In some houses, cordless handsets may out of range of the base unit,which has to be located at the service-provider's entry point.This product means that everywhere can be in range, including outbuildings.and the garden. Was a bit reluctant to buy this, in case it didn't work, but I didn't need to worry! Briliiant range extension
Does exactly what was required. My house has very thick stone walls and ordinary dect was difficult even in the house.
