    Worth the money

Bought these for my daughter who watches wildlife and all things nautical off shore. She has used them almost daily. Great light weight for size and easily use able. Bought her a monopole that she mounts the camera on to and it also works a treat for her. So overall rating is a sound 5. If she loves them then believe me they must be great!!

Over rated not worth nearly £80

I purchased the celestron skymaster 25x70 after reading reiviews on a plane spotting web site. I was really looking forward to getting them, but i was very dissopointed after using them. I have a £16.99 pair of auriol 10×50 i brought from Lidl, and the celestrons are darker lower build quality with a very cheap low quality case and not much more powerful. I wish i did not get them now as there not worth £79.99, i would only say there worth max £25 when i compare them to my £16.99 auriol from lidl.

  • Excellent product

Brilliant, powerful and sturdy. You need a tripod or support due to the weight as they are hard to keep still. Well built and worth the money. Ideal for stargazing and long distance viewing.

  • Skymaster 25 x 70

Giant 25 x 70 binoculars but not giant weight, can be used hand held, by propping yourself against something steady. Close focus distance is very acceptable, the width of a public A road to give an idea. Focusing is easy, and with a little bit of use you get to know infinity position, which is about two finger pulls from max. The eye cups are perfect for me, flip them back and they work with glasses very well too. The case is adequate and the best way to carry the binoculars rather than using the strap supplied. Tripod attachment just about works. Optics not bad, slight red aberration if you look for it, good value for the price of under £100 I recommend them, a good buy! J M Heigham

  • Celestron 25x70mm Binoculars

I've only used them once on misty afternoon bird watching magnification was good managed to see clear image of Kingfisher from 200m across lake, my 16x50mmwould have struggled but image would've been sharper due FOV and less magnification

  • Good but a bit heavy!

Excellent distance optics. Youll need to mount them on a tripod for use over any kength of time or fir astronomical viewings though. Well msde and sturdy they'll do the job for you. Moon's craters fully visible and clear to see.

  • Good product

Good product but with this degree of magnification needs to be attached to a stable tripod, very difficult to use by hand.

  • slight niggle

i like this product but the tripod mount is shocking. it takes about 10 seconds to stop wobbling . thats no good for most users. i am about to make a steel one but not many people have the ability to do this. other than that they are fine.

  • I bought them for watching wild life from my window. Great

Excellent product. Don't expect the binoculars to be lightweight. They are realy for a tripod.

  • Nice and clear lenses, quality built, a little on the heavy side.
