Lasted 5 mins at most.......
I unpacked and ran the camera from the lead, it appeared fine so I routed the cable properly and attached it to the screen. I was attempting the wifi setup when the screen started to get scrambled. I restarted the device and all seemed fine but within a minute the screen completely failed to work it went bright with the odd flicker of something along the edge at the top.. I sent it back. Very disappointing. No where near as good as the older MiVue cam that we still have and use..

Camera MIO 658 Wifi This is my 3rd camera and to be honest the best one very good quality pics and video WIFI works good but you will need to download app "MiVue on your mobile or tablet software iSO or android I have bought 2 CARDS for this device -TOSHIBA MICRO SD SDHC SDXC MEMORY CARD UHS-1 CLASS 10 - 64G for £14.99 64 GB recording video time around 7 hours 45 minutes -and Toshiba Exceria M302 128GB Micro SD Memory Card 90 MB/s 4K for £33.99 128 GB recording video time around 15 hours 30 minutes both working very good :))) If I can suggest please don't buy any cheap cards because they may not work !!!

Mio MiVue 658 Touch WiFi Touch Screen In Car Dashcam
Just to say it does as its says on the box. The quick start instructions inside are poorly done and it's best to navigate round the menus by yourself. Don't forgot to buy your own Micro SD card and I got a 32 Gig one from Tesco's for just over £10. The biggest hassle I had was trying to connect up the power lead on the Dashcam. Please be aware that the instructions are misleading and I eventually solved it my attaching the lead onto the suction base first and made sure it was pushed into as far as it would go before plugging the suction base into the Dashcam in one go. I have a Skoda and I found that I could mount the camera by the mirror but on the passenger side before routing the cable behind the door rubber and plastic trim under the glove compartment to the cigarette power point.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

compact but good quality
I have had a few dash cams, which have all had their own niggly problems , but since using the MIO MiVue 658 I have been well pleased. The speed readout is very handy as my car has poor visibility of the speedo both in day and night. The speed cameras are handy but the speed it states for the road is not always correct.
