Good product but wrong adaptor
I'm pleased with the one button radio but it has a 110v wallwart US flat pin power supply supplied with it instead of the required uk 230v type. So I have to find the correct adaptor. I bought this for my mother in law. She has dementia so I think she will find the one button control useful. I have recorded MP3 tracks onto a USB stick but here is the problem. The USB feature cannot be used while the cover for the controls is in place. A solution to this is to cut a slot in the removable cover to allow the USB stick to remain in the USB slot. I think that the designer hasn't considered that it is more useful to use the MP3 than the radio. The USB socket should really be in the back compartment of the unit where there is plenty of room to accommodate a USB stickVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is just what I'd been looking for. My mother has dementia and could not work other radios I had bought for her. With this you set the station you want and the strength of sound, and cover the front with the provided panel. Present for a 100 year old
Bought this for an old friend who is living in a nursing home due to being almost blind. She struggles with controls on any technology so this was ideal with only one button and let's her listen to the radio whilst in her room. Says what it does on the tin!
Bought for my 98 year old mother who does not suffer from dementia but who cannot manage remotes or technology generally. She just wants radio 4. Easy to use and with dials she is more familiar with. It is too heavy for her to move from place to place and is bigger than she'd like but she is frail. She is very hard of hearing but seems to be able hear it ok. Reception at her home is good but it crackles at the care home she is temporarily staying at but she says she can't hear the crackles so she's happy. Simple to use
