love, love, love these chewy caramels
I used to buy these (called Merry Maid or something like that) as a child about 40 years ago and absolutely loved them then. They taste just as good despite the plain gold wrapper. They are pretty chewy which I love but not so good if you want more of a soft toffee. They are delicious and I ate a frightening number in a very short space of time over Xmas!
