Great product for a simple repair. Win-win all round.
A great replacement for the original part. Also, because it is just the insert, it is easy to fit, and no need to strip down the whole shock absorber from the drum, which can be a nasty job to do! It took me an hour in total, including getting the washing machine chassis open. Be warned: the grease supplied is very sticky so I used vinyl gloves for applying it to the friction pads. A great product at a great price, which has transformed the operation of the machine (Bosch Classixx 1400 Express).

Excellent repair kit
Purchased for my Bosch Exxcel 1200 washing machine model WF02465GB/01 (I understand than some of these models may have a cylindrical damper, so this kit would not fit). It fitted perfectly and has much improved the drum stability. I read a tip to glue the pads to the plastic struts, that made re-assembly easier. A simple fix, now like new
I read the reviews before buying, I had to use 2 shims about 20mm wide 0.2mm thick to compress the 2 friction pads to aid assembly. Fortunately I had some brass strip to hand. They should be in the kit. Difficult without.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy and inexpensive fix for old washing machines

Bosch shock absorbers
Problem with Bosch is that you have to drill out the locating pins on the drum to install new shocks. This is the ideal solution, replace the existing pistons without the need to drill. Works a treat. Item arrived quickly and as specified, quick and easy fix.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
