Limited, but what it does, it does very well
If you're looking for an excellent recreation of 70s and 80s synth 'string' sounds, this is a great sounding little box. It isn't a full blown synth; it is limited to sounds like strings, brass, organ and choir (which sounds nothing like a choir to me). It can also play a chord section and a separate solo section on another MIDI channel, which I find very useful. Unfortunately, the MIDI out doesn't also do MIDI thru [sic] which means it needs to be on the end of the chain.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

If you need something to generate some lush retro pads, look no further. Extremely easy to use, and the Registration knob is a joy - much better to gradually change the patch rather than use a set of boring fixed presets!
