Limited, but what it does, it does very well
If you're looking for an excellent recreation of 70s and 80s synth 'string' sounds, this is a great sounding little box. It isn't a full blown synth; it is limited to sounds like strings, brass, organ and choir (which sounds nothing like a choir to me). It can also play a chord section and a separate solo section on another MIDI channel, which I find very useful. Unfortunately, the MIDI out doesn't also do MIDI thru [sic] which means it needs to be on the end of the chain.

If you need something to generate some lush retro pads, look no further. Extremely easy to use, and the Registration knob is a joy - much better to gradually change the patch rather than use a set of boring fixed presets! Couple this with an Arturia Keystep for some amazing arps and sequences.
