Very Thick
Crazy thick with just 2 coats even just 1 coat. Highly recommend for fiberglass cars or parts that need a lot of blocking. After 30 years of body/paint old and new cars, I would say it's a little overkill unless your body work is not a professional level. This will hide all sorts of problems, I prefer Evercoat Fish Sand if you want to keep the film build thinner and more original looking. Sometimes you lose body line definition with too thick of primer and paint film build. All in all this is a great product exhibiting very little, if any shrinkage and sands easily with 80-120 grit paper. Should be enough film build to finish sand with say 320 grit paper. I'd highly recommend this product in the appropriate situation.. I've used high build 2K urethane primer/surfacer and the sand scratches from your body work will show through your paint job within a very short time due to major shrinkage, this or another polyester Evercoat product s a perfect alternative.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Evercoat does not perform as advertised
Followed the tech sheet instructions to the letter. Mixed precisely 4 parts primer with one part catalyst. Gun pressure at nozzle set at 12 psi. Nozzle/needle 2.2. Sprayed two wet coats 15 minutes apart. Four days later the product is still soft and can be dented with slight pressure from a finger nail. Because it has not completely cured, the body panels cannot be sanded wet or dry!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great primer for blocking out body filler repairs..

Easy to use. Encridible build.
Great product. Builds awesome. Negates the need for using an epoxy primer first. Only hard part is getting mixed. I used a drill and it still took 10 minutes or so.

Product I will use again
I needed a high build primer to put on a project so I could do a final block sand to make sure everything was laser straight. Product sprayed out very smooth and sanded very well. A far advanced primer
This is an amazing product. So far I've used it on a raw guitar body and a old rusty pitted tractor hood. It adhered to the wood perfectly and I was able to smooth it just as I hoped. As for the hood it builds so good it filled all the pits. I will be using this product over and over.
