If using wiser controlled heads then only a valve body is needed the wiser head being purchased separately. This unit would have got five stars except that the thread that goes into the radiator would benefit from from having a flange to prevent weeping.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Quality Valves = Cosy House!
I bought some 'Smart' Thermostatic heads.They didn't fir the valves I had. The 'Basic', un-adapted fitting suited these Drayton TR4 Valves. Typical, I think to myself, I have to spend more money! The Three valves I bought arrived. I received an email telling me to expect two packages, as that was the most economic way to ship - Smart. I approve. Set the first combination up before draining my system. I could see them working, Actually felt the resistance increase, blowing through them, As I walked in from the cold to the warm house. My Smart heads worked well on these valves. The Valves I replaced were found to ALL be siezed! No money wasted there then! Buy cheap buy twice!
I originally bought Terrier TRVs but they failed after a couple of years so I replaced the heads with Drayton TRV4s. 2 years on and the Terrier valve bodies are not working properly so I bought these to replace them with.
