You get what you pay for
This handle is nice and compact but only really suitable for light nets and small fish. The threaded ferrule wasnt "glued" on very well and when I tried to fit a 36" carp net to it, the ferrule came off and about an inch of the carbon tubing underneath broke. I cut the broken bit off and re glued it with JB Weld and filled the inner end of the tube with the JB to reinforce it. Shouldnt have had to do that really, but should be alright now. I wouldnt want to lift even a small wet net with a fish in using this handle. Probably Ok to lift enough to trap the fish and then pull it across the surface. Enough reinforcement for the threaded ferrule and I would give it a 4. It would have to have thicker walled tube for a 5. But for the money, it's Ok.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A little flimsy but effective but probably for small fish.
On the positive side its compact and effective, but you spud struggle with ;anding a large Carp and it's not exactly as robust as I would have liked. The section holding the landing net came loose on its second outing and I will need to glue it back in and rivet this section to prevent a repeat.
